Glass Blowing

Take a first step into the world of hot glass with this 3-hour class! You’ll learn how to manipulate molten glass, add color and shape it into a beautiful paperweight.

Glassblowing is all about manipulating very hot, molten glass – it’s stored in the furnace at about 2,100°F and kept between 1600° and 1900°F while working. Though glassblowing can be a challenging and demanding process, the creative possibilities of form and color are endless and highly rewarding. Choose from classes in the core skills of glassblowing, as well as specialty classes in sculpting, interdisciplinary techniques, advanced shaping focuses and more. Ages 14+
