Professional Development Workshop: Dealing With Challenging Behavior

How do we deal with challenging behavior in the workplace? Whether it comes from a boss, a colleague, a client or someone who reports to you, learn how to more effectively manage challenging behavior and create better working relationships. Explore some of the keys to empowering yourself in such situations.

When we are confronted with people exhibiting challenging behavior, it can be difficult to assess the best way to engage. SEEDS Challenging Behavior training incorporates many of our conflict resolution tools in the context of working with challenging behavior in the workplace.

We explore the following:

· What’s happening? – This module discusses the multitude of underlying reasons people may exhibit challenging behavior.

· Managing Triggers – This module helps address what is happening to you and provides tips on staying effectively engaged.

· Skills for handling challenging behavior – This module reviews specific skills and tools to employ to engage more effectively.

SEEDS trainings include presentation, activities and discussion.

We give a full refund if an enrollee cancels more than two weeks before the date of the class. If an enrollee cancels within two weeks of the event date, their fee can be applied to a future training within one year of the original training date, but cannot be refunded.
