Acting 102: Sunday Class

Acting Classes

Intermediate Acting is a follow-up class for students who’ve already taken a Beginning Acting class (or a similar course) and would like to continue learning and developing their foundation acting skills.
We’ll start out by doing some improv, skits, and group exercises, with a focus on having fun, being genuine, exploring the elements of character and personality, listening and responding and going deeper into the fundamentals of acting.
We’ll move on to performing short scenes, and exercises to clarify basic concepts such as objective, obstacle, intention, and other approaches that help bring a performance into focus.
Plus, you’ll learn a method that makes “cold reads” (sight reads from a script, in front of an audience) much simpler and easier — a useful skill for actors who are planning on auditioning.

Note: Class price includes $10 registration fee. This class has free parking.

Full refunds are given as long as the class is cancelled with at least 48 hours notice. is an independent adult education program, located in Seattle, Washington. We were established in 2002. We offer fun, affordable noncredit classes and workshops in the arts.
