Overall I think I got a lot from the training session. It was my first AMA seminar, and I think it was a perfect way to get my feet wet and find areas worth spending more time on.

Good overview for someone transitioning to management. Learning about DISC helped me to better understand my own style and will enable me to interact with subordinates/co-workers/bosses in a more productive way.

Instructor was great, very thorough, clear & concise. I thought the material for the course was pretty good, but could have been more geared towards management techniques rather than personality traits. I feel like we spent a lot of time understanding different personalities (DISC), instead of learning effective management techniques with specific situations.
