Understanding Legal Issues for Supervisors and Managers – Seattle

Supervisors and Managers are responsible for more than the efficient operation of their teams within the bounds of company policies.

They are also responsible for compliance within a wide range of complex laws and regulations.

Understanding Legal Issues for Supervisors and Managers is designed to assist supervisors and managers in identifying situations in which statutory or contractual legal mandates or restrictions will affect their course of action and to determine whether additional assistance is required.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify relevant areas of the law that may apply to the situation given a fact pattern.
  • Determine whether it is necessary to seek guidance or advice from their supervisor, a human resources professional, or attorney after receiving a complaint or request for assistance from an employee.

This program is designed for supervisors and managers.
