Project Management focuses on a holistic approach to project management. The content deals with planning, scheduling, organizing, and controlling projects—for example, product development, construction, information systems, new businesses, and special events. The course includes major topics of Strategy, Priorities, Organization, Project Tools, and Leadership. Primary class emphasis is on the project management process and tools. Project management is becoming more important in today’s world. Mastery of key tools and concepts could give you a significant competitive advantage in the marketplace.

  • The intent of this course is to provide learners with powerful concepts, skills, models, and tools to use to “think strategically” while acting tactically throughout their careers.
  • This course counts for 20 SHRM and HRCI recertification credit hours or 2 University credits.
  • The Learning System for PMP® Exam Preparation materials available to those interested, but are not required to take this course.

In the event that you cannot attend class, you may substitute another person in your place prior to the class start. You must notify Seattle Research Partners, Inc. in writing of the substitution. If you wish to receive a refund, you must submit a written request to [email protected] for cancellation within 30 days of payment AND prior to the first day of class. There is a $50 refund fee. If materials have been opened or online access granted, material fee is nonrefundable.
