The instructor was highly insightful, clearly communicated all materials, and fully engaged the participants. My personal learning was augmented by the high level of student participation which was fostered by the instructor.

One of the overall objectives of my taking the course was to help in uniting my group in a single vision of strategic planning. Two of us took the course in Chicago one will be taking it in San Francisco while two others had learned through employers a different method. I found the instructors person insights and ideas helpful but I doubt if the San Francisco course will teach the same ideas. Over all it will be an asset to our organization.

Overall, I took what I needed from this class despite the efforts of the instructor. He talked constantly and he talked through our very limited "quiet time" to do independent work. He did almost none of the group activities, which I would have found valuable. There was very little time to process what was being discussed, and even when he gave us a few minutes to work on our own project, he would be quiet for a minute, and then start up conversations with individual studdents, drawing them into a discussion that often was not about the work. Overall, I found him immensely frustrating as an instructor, however knowledgeable about strategic planning. He needs coaching as an instructor.
