This school can change your life, but you HAVE to be willing to put in the work. I've been a student at a large university and one of the finest liberal arts colleges in the country (I'm currently at a liberal arts college elsewhere), and I can honestly say that Seattle Central offers some of the most dedicated instructors I have ever encountered. I'm a returning student finishing my degree, so while I was living in Seattle, I chose Seattle Central to get some credits to increase my class standing. Yeah, a whole lot more than that happened. I went in with the intent of majoring in one field, and after one quarter with Greg Hinkley and Charles Jeffreys, my mind was changed (and blown). Hinkley especially is a treasure and is in the business of changing the course of people's lives, mine included. This was one of the most positive educational experiences I've ever had. No matter what stage you are on your educational or life journey, Seattle Central has a place for you. The diversity? Awesome. The student run bakery? Even awesomer. Seriously, I would recommend this place to ANYONE without hesitation. And don't forget to visit the bakery. Really, it's pretty great.

Classes are affordable and the location is pretty great. Parking can be tough, but there's a lot behind the school that has $5 student parking after a certain hour. I usually parked there. The facilities are older, but they have working technology and the instructor I had was knowledgeable and generally cared for our learning and education so that was nice. I would definitely take another class here if they had more topics of interest.

I transferred here from Western in Bellingham, and I'm having a WAY better experience here than I ever did at that university. Seattle Central has been nothing but a strong positive influence on my education. It's in an AWESOME location and all of my instructors have been very excited about class. Great school.
