This camp is no cake-walk, as we delve into the fundamentals of baking both sweet and savory over 5 flour-filled days. We’ll bake treats, snacks, and full on meals while learning the science behind ingredients like yeast, baking powder, eggs, flour, and more through fun games and experiments. Try your hand at making sourdough, savory and sweet pies, creative cakes, pasta, crackers, or egg dishes! By the end of this series, students will have the practical skills necessary to begin baking at home, and the knowledge necessary to eat food in a wholesome, nutritional, and sustainable manner.
