Camps go Monday-Friday from 9am to 3pm with an hour-long lunch from 12-1pm. The campers will work on songs and dances as well as scripts from the show they are working on. They will also play theatre games and learn about theatre etiquette including stage directions and performance skills. The week of camp will culminate in a short 15 minute performance on Friday afternoon where your child will perform 3 songs from the show and short bits of script to tie the whole performance together. For each camp, we have one adult, who is a professional in the industry, and two CITs (or Counselors in Training) who are between the ages of 14 and 19, to assist the instructor.
Campers should arrive to camp wearing clothes they can move in, preferably active wear. If your child wants to wear a dress, they should wear shorts underneath. Please no flip flops or sandals, it makes learning dances extra hard.
We unfortunately do not provide lunches. Please make sure you send them with not only a lunch, but a water bottle and a couple snacks to get them through the day. Due to the severity of allergies for several campers and their families, we are a NUT FREE CAMP. Please send your child with alternatives, such as turkey, or ham sandwiches.
Note: We send out an email the Wednesday before your camp week starts to remind you about camp but also to answer any questions you still might have.
There is a cancellation fee of $100 if less than 48 hours before of the start of the camp.
If it is within 24 hours of the camp, there will be no reimbursement.
