Learn natural self-healing for anxiety, stress, and trauma.
Nature provides a powerful resource that enables us to heal our own anxiety, stress, and trauma, but we don’t harness it because we don’t recognize it.
In this workshop, you’ll learn to start, stop, and self-regulate a natural healing response that all mammals share. You’ll learn TRE® (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises), which activates your body’s natural stress-release mechanism. It can relieve everyday stressors, unwind long-held muscle tension, and release trauma. Best of all, your body does the work, providing relief without requiring you to retell or re-live past experiences.
TRE empowers you to heal yourself. After you’ve learned it, you can practice it independently wherever and whenever you want. For free!
This is a full-day workshop. Please bring a lunch. Coffee, tea, and water are provided.

How to prepare
• Dress in clothes that you can move freely in.
• Bring a yoga mat to lie on (blankets or large beach towels work, too).
• Bring a light blanket or throw with which to cover yourself if needed.

Cancellation and Transfer Policy
If you need to cancel a private appointment or registration for a workshop, the following refund policy applies.
More than 48 hours before an event or appointment begins, you can:
Transfer: contact us to apply your credit for one Raise Your Resilience event or service to another. For example, you can reschedule a private appointment or transfer your registration from a one workshop to another. But you can also apply your credit for an unattended workshop to a private TRE session and vice versa. You must redeem your credit within a calendar year.
Get a refund: contact us to receive refund, less a $10 administration fee. Refunds are credited by the same means you used to pay.
Less than 48 hours before an event or appointment begins:
No refunds are available, but you can still transfer from one event or service to another (see information under "Transfer" above).
If Raise Your Resilience has to cancel an event or appointment, you'll receive a full refund. If you miss one in a series of classes, Raise Your Resilience cannot provide refunds, transfers, or makeup sessions for the one class you missed.
Raise Your Resilience
Raise Your Resilience is dedicated to helping you release the stress and trauma that prevent you from fully embracing life. The organization was cofounded by Petra Martin and Leckey Harrison as a result of their work with Whidbey CareNet, a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to relieving stress and trauma in emergency responders. Petra and Leckey found that emergency responders have a hard time asking for help, so they began searching for a way to empower responders to help themselves. That search led to Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE®), which is primary stress-relief method they teach.
