Graphic Design for Artists and Entrepreneurs

Whether you want to print designs onto posters and textiles by yourself or through a commercial printer or if you’re an artist interested in using digital tools in your studio practice, this class is for you! Learn how to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to design and prepare an image for print. This class will combine live demonstration, group discussion and hands-on time to practice using the software. Please bring a portable thumb drive or memory stick to class.

We are unable to prorate classes, so the full class fee is required for registration regardless of attendance.

The campus is a maze, there's no getting around that. Give yourself a little extra time to find your class on the first day. The program is AWESOME though!! I've only taken art, but my teachers have been Superb! Glenn T is so so good. The way he structures the class and the feedback he gives- I can actually draw now! It's so weird because I've only ever done stick figures before! The continuing ed department is well organized. They sent me useful emails reminding me of my class dates, a room change, and forewarned me about parking. They were very responsive when I asked questions, which is a far cry from what Seattle Central continuing ed did for me (which was not much). If you have the choice, I highly recommend NCCC both for class quality and logistics (parking is easy, lots of buses come here, and they are WAY better organized). I will be taking many more classes through this program. Go lifelong learning!!
